FIVE95 is a concept relating to business and everyday life, that when applied, can give meaning and clarity to our everyday decisions.

            Why FIVE95, why not TEN90 or TWENTYFIVE75 or even FIFTY50?

In todays world the margins are getting smaller. The computer age has changed the way we think and do business for ever. In years gone by if you had a 50%/50% chance of sucess, most people would see that as worth having a go.  If they had a 25% risk and a 75% chance of sucess most people would think those to be good odds. Then if they had a 10% risk and a 90% chance of sucess they would see that as an excellent opportunity.

All that has now changed and we all need to refine our distinctions even further. I believe it was Benjamin Franklin that once said 'the only thing certain in life is death and taxes', for if we think that something is certain, for example our current job, or our pension, then we may find out the hard way exactly what Ben Franklin meant.

FIVE95, I believe puts things into a good perspective, it allows a margin for error, ie; the FIVE%. The 95% allows for the expectation or committment or application, which ever word suits your situation best, to achieve your desired result. It is not a hard and fast rule it is a 'rule of thumb'. A guide, something to ask yourself each time a situation arises.

The population of Australia is growing at a very fast pace. With a growth in population comes a greater level of competition. More people compete for places in the Universities. More people compete for jobs in the market place. More people compete to secure our disposable dollar. More people compete for the same services that we offer. So the distinctions we make within our business must become smaller to allow us to compete with the growing competition.

FIVE% opportunity, 95% determination.

FIVE% talk, 95% action.

FIVE% of your income when wisely invested can produce 95% of your wealth.

The last FIVE% of any deal is usually where the profit is.

FIVE% of the population usually control 95% of the wealth, so before making a financial decision,ask would the FIVE% do this or would the 95% do this?

Don't get too greedy, if you can make FIVE% profit on 95% of your deals you are well on your way to wealth.
